- 1 kg sliced bacon fried in a non-stick pan (no oil needed)
- 400 g spaghetti noodles cooked according to package instructions
- 2 cups water
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pack 62g cream of mushroom powder
- 2 tbsp bacon oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 medium onion chopped
- ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pack 250ml all-purpose cream
- ½ tsp salt
- Grated cheese for topping
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Fry bacon until crisp, set aside, reserve 2 tbsp oil
In a bowl, mix 2 cups water with cream of mushroom powder, stir until fully dissolved
In a pan, heat bacon oil, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant
Add mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, cook until softened
Pour in cream of mushroom liquid, simmer until slightly thick
Stir in all-purpose cream and ½ tsp salt, simmer on low until creamy
Toss in cooked spaghetti noodles, mix until fully coated
Add crispy bacon (reserve some for topping)
Serve hot, topped with grated cheese and parsley
