- 2 kg shrimp cleaned and deveined
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 head garlic minced
- 1 tbsp annatto powder
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 can 240ml pineapple juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of half a lemon
- Chopped green onion for toppings
Cook the Shrimp:
In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned.
Stir in annatto powder to color and infuse the butter.
Add the shrimp and toss until it turns light pink.
Add Sauce & Simmer:
Pour in the pineapple juice and oyster sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Squeeze in lemon juice and mix well.
Let simmer for 5–7 minutes until shrimp is fully cooked and sauce slightly reduces.
