- 2 kg ground pork
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp liquid seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp plain mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp liquid seasoning for finishing
- 2 tbsp calamansi juice
- 1 tbsp butter for sizzling plate
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 1 small red bell pepper chopped
- 1 pc egg
- Mayonnaise and chopped green onion for topping
In a bowl, season ground pork with salt, pepper, liquid seasoning, and garlic powder, mix well
In a large pan, heat oil, pan-fry the ground pork until golden brown and crispy bits start to form
Turn off heat and mix in mayonnaise, liquid seasoning, and calamansi juice, stir until well combined
Heat cast iron pan, melt butter, and add the pork sisig mixture
Top with chopped onions, red bell pepper, and crack an egg in the center
Let it sizzle until egg is half-cooked
Finish with drizzled mayonnaise and sprinkle green onions before serving
