Filipino Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1 kg spaghetti noodles cooked according to instructions
- ¼ cup cooking oil
- 10 pcs hotdog sliced
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 1 head garlic minced
- ½ kg ground pork
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 900 g spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup banana ketchup
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp all-purpose sauce
- ½ cup sliced or grated cheese
- 1 pc red bell pepper diced
- Cheese for toppings
Instructions
- Heat cooking oil, fry hotdogs until browned then set aside
- In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant
- Add ground pork, cook until no longer pink
- Pour in fish sauce and vinegar, let it simmer for 2 minutes
- Add spaghetti sauce, banana ketchup, oyster sauce, and all-purpose sauce
- Stir in grated cheese and red bell pepper, simmer for 10–15 minutes
- Return the fried hotdogs to the sauce and simmer until thick
- Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles and top with more cheese
