Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg pancake mix
  • ½ cup powdered milk
  • cups water
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup melted butter or vegetable oil
  • tbsp baking powder optional, for extra rise
  • Cheese slices optional, for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix pancake mix, powdered milk, and baking powder (if using).
  • Add water, eggs, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth with no lumps. Strain once to twice.
  • Pour batter into greased puto molds, filling each about ¾ full.
  • Add cheese slices on top if desired.
  • Steam for 15–20 minutes over medium heat or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool before unmolding. Serve warm or chilled.
