Soft, fluffy, and slightly sweet steamed rice cakes made easy using ready-made pancake mix—no need for yeast or complicated steps!
Ingredients Tips:
• Pancake mix already contains flour and leavening—no need to add more unless you want extra fluffiness.
• Substitute half of the water with evaporated milk for a creamier flavor.
• Use quick-melt cheese or salted cheese for a savory contrast.

Cooking Tips:
• Make sure that the water is boiling before steaming.
• Wrap the steamer lid with cloth to prevent water from dripping onto the puto.
• Do not overfill molds to avoid overflow during steaming.
• Use cupcake liners if you want easy cleanup and presentation.
